Product Introduction：
   DAPI is a blue fluorescent dye that can penetrate the cell membrane. When combined with double-stranded DNA, it produces fluorescence more than 20 times stronger than DAPI itself. Compared with ethidium bromide (EB), the staining sensitivity for double-stranded DNA is many times higher.DAPI staining is often used to detect apoptosis, which is observed by fluorescence microscopy or flow cytometry after staining. DAPI is also commonly used for general nuclear staining as well as for staining double-stranded DNA in some specific cases.DAPI had a maximum excitation wavelength of 340nm and a maximum emission wavelength of 488nm. The combination of DAPI and double-stranded DNA resulted in a maximum excitation wavelength of 364nm and a maximum emission wavelength of 454nm.
   Prepare stock soluiton:it is dissolved in double distilled water to a final concentration of 1mg/ml. This product should not be dissolved directly with buffer solution. It can be stored for 1 year at -20℃. It is recommended to store in separate packaging to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.When used for nuclear staining, the recommended working concentration of DAPI is 0.5-10μg/ml.
