Exosome component 7, also known as EXOSC7, is a gene, the protein product of which is part of the exosome complex.Predicted to enable mRNA 3'-UTR AU-rich region binding activity. Involved in RNA catabolic process and RNA processing. Part of cytosol; exosome (RNase complex); and nucleolus.EXOSC7 (Exosome Component 7) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with EXOSC7 include Pontocerebellar Hypoplasia, Type 1C and Pontocerebellar Hypoplasia, Type 1B.
