S100 calcium-binding protein A11 (S100A11) is a protein that is encoded by the S100A11 gene.The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the S100 family of Proteins containing 2 EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. S100A11, also known as calgizzarin or 100C, is a small acidic protein. Along with all 13 members of the S100 family, are located as a cluster on chromosome 1q21.
