DNA repair protein RAD51 homolog 1 is a protein encoded by the gene RAD51. The enzyme encoded by this gene is a member of the RAD51 protein family which assists in repair of DNA double strand breaks. RAD51 family members are homologous to the bacterial RecA, Archaeal RadA, and yeast Rad51.The protein is highly conserved in most eukaryotes, from yeast to humans. The name RAD51 derives from RADiation sensitive protein 51.
As the OD values of the standard curve may vary according to the conditions of the actual assay performance (e.g. operator, pipetting technique, wash technique or temperature effects), the operator should establish a standard curve for each test. Typical standard curve and data are provided below for reference only.

Cell Culture Supernates(n=8) | 97-108 | 104 |
Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Human RAD51 and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
